Our Class is Saint Blaise

About St. Blaise - Patron Saint Article

Saint Blaise was a Christian bishop and doctor who lived in Sebaste, Armenia, during the 3rd and 4th centuries. He was known for his kindness, wisdom, and care for both people and animals. According to tradition, he lived as a hermit in a cave before being arrested for his Christian faith during a time of persecution. One famous story tells how he saved a boy who was choking on a fish bone by praying for him. Because of this miracle, Saint Blaise is remembered as the patron saint of throat illnesses. His feast day is celebrated on 3rd February each year.
